"Paprika" - as named by Leanna - will be joining us, hopefully, in late May 2010. Yes, she's not offically due until June 1st, but one can hope. The pregnancy has been eventful so far. During the first trimester, I had a subchorionic hemorrhage that resulted in a trip to the ER. We had an ultrasound and were able to see a tiny heartbeat at just about 7 weeks. I also developed severe Acid Reflux and was quite sick well into the second trimester. Right about the time the reflux was subsiding, the contractions started. So far no signs of preterm labor, but I have already been told to take it easy. No vacuuming or mopping me for. Too bad, right?
Leanna is excited about sharing her room with the new baby. She already insisted we put the crib up, assemble the bouncy seat, and any thing else she can think of. She does finally understand that the baby won't be coming until after her birthday. Her current obsession is why the baby is going to be born naked.
